A further two events concluded on Monday at Kings Casino, where The Festival in Rozvadov is now on its fifth day, but not quite yet at the halfway mark of the 11-day poker extravaganza.
The results have been checked and verified, and I can now reveal that there’s a change at the top of the leaderboard. Haik Tougu hasn’t added any further points to his total since his THMC win and has slipped down to third place. He’s been overtaken by Horst Boeschen and Moreno Rutten, who are tied on 82 points.
Horst added to his PLO win on Friday by taking down the Holdem 6+ (Short Deck), while Moreno has played in almost every event so far and has bumped his score up purely with participation points.

But wait, somebody is missing, there’s absolutely no sign anywhere on the leaderboard of double Player of the Series winner (should have been 3-time, could have been more) Scott “Pokerbrahs” Kenyon. What the actual heck? Turns out he’s not very well at the moment and has had to give this edition of The Festival Series a miss. Get better soon Scott, hope to see you at the Malta edition in September.
No news yet of whether Maureen Blochlinger will make an unscheduled return to Czechia to maintain her challenge for the title. Having not played on Monday, she’s now slipped a little further back on the leaderboard, but could still potentially challenge for the €1,600 Malta package, if she makes a return.
